Chinese Fried Rice recipe
Ingredients: 8 ounces of cooked long-grain rice.
4 ounces of peas, blanched.
3 ounces of smoked bacon, finely diced.
3 ounces of peeled prawns.
6 spring onions.
2 medium eggs, beaten.
2 tablespoons of sunflower oil.
Salt and black pepper. Procedures: In a wok, heat the sunflower oil.
Stir in the rice and stir fry for about one minute.
Add the smoked bacon and the peeled prawns.
Keep cooking for another five minutes over a high heat.
Stir in the eggs, peas and spring onions, and cook for two more minutes.
Season with the salt and pepper.
Serve hot. Servings: 4.
